Company visit to the new Octatube building in Delft with KIVI Bouw

The board of the KIVI Construction department is organizing a company visit to the new Octatube building on Wednesday 22 March.

Octatube is a Delft design & build company that was founded in the early 1980s by Mick Eekhout. The company once started with innovative space trusses, but is now a specialist facade builder focused on custom work that realizes many special international projects. Due to its location next to TU Delft and the good relationship with the universities, Octatube has been the start of many an engineer’s career in the construction industry.

What is also special about Octatube is that it is not only an engineering firm, but also manufactures the designed constructions and facades itself in its own workshop and builds with its own mechanics. A unique combination of designing and building under one roof. Due to the considerable growth of Octatube in recent years, the current office and workshop will be expanded.

KIVI Bouw invites you to come and take a look at the new Octatube building on March 22. Of course this is also a great opportunity to meet other (future) engineers in the construction industry.

4:00 PM Guided tour of the construction site
