ViAX

ViAX, Vakinhoudelijke Activiteit X, is een ontwerpwedstrijd die is gehouden ter ere van het vijfde lustrum van CHEOPS. Het winnende ontwerp zal na realisatie als cadeau aan de faculteit geschonken worden.

Het ontwerp, Lift Project Vertigo, bestaat uit een drietal lichtobjecten op de liften die vanuit de hele stad zichtbaar zijn. Het licht geeft de relatie tussen gebouw en gebruiker weer door de energieconsumptie van de faculteit of campus te visualiseren.

Het project is momenteel in de technische uitwerkingsfase en zal dit jaar gebouwd en tijdens GLOW 2012 onthult worden.

De commissie 2011-2012 bestaat uit een aantal van de organiserende commissieleden in samenwerking met de winnaars van de ontwerpwedstrijd:

ViAX, or Professional Activity X, is a designcompetition wich was held in honor of the fifth lustrum of CHEOPS. The winning design will, after realization, be given to the faculty.

The design, Lift Project Vertigo, consists of three lighting-objects on top of Vertigo's elevators, wich can be seen throughout the whole city. The light reflects the relation between the users and their building, and will visualize the energyconsuption of the faculty or campus.

The project is currently in the technical design fase, it will be presented during GLOW 2012.
